Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long does it take to replace a pool liner?

Our pool specialists would come the day before to empty your pool, then spend the next day removing the old pool liner, extrusion clips and checking the structural integrity of the pool, before making repairs. Once this is done, we then take measurements to make and order a replacement custom-made pool liner. Once the pool liner is ready, we will begin the installation, this usually only takes a day or two. Finally, the pool is re-filled with water, and you are ready to swim.

  • Is it bad to have wrinkles in my vinyl pool liner?

Yes! depending on the size and the amount you have; some can develop over time and others are caused by water pressure from under the pool. You should avoid using automatic pool cleaners if you have visible wrinkles as this can wear down your Vinyl liner and cause it to leak. We recommend you only clean the pool manually and keep a good chemical balance to extend the life of your pool liner.

  • How do I know if I need to replace my pool liner?

If your pool liner has faded significantly or has wrinkled and you find that you need to fill the pool with more water than usual, this usually indicates that it's time to replace your pool lining. Our Vinyl Pool liners usually have a life span of between 8 - 10 years but have been known to last longer if looked after, and if the pool chemistry is always balanced.
